Robert Elfer, RA, NCARB

is a partner in an international architecture practice, oceanUS + oceanD based in Boston, NY, and London. Robert has taught seminars on the ARE Building Technology and Building Planning exams at the Boston Architectural College for nearly 10 years. He is also the Editor of the Building Technology Study Guide 2007 by Kaplan.

 

Laura Serebin, AIA

is a senior Associate at Flad & Associates in Madison, Wisconsin. Laura has conducted training seminars for the graphics divisions of the ARE on behalf of the AIA Wisconsin chapter and Kaplan over the course of the past five years. She is also the Editor of the Building Planning Study Guide 2007 by Kaplan.

 

Bob Wise, AIA

is an architect and educator in San Antonio, Texas. In addition to his practice, which involves technical consulting with architects and developers. Bob teaches various technical courses at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He is also the Editor of the Site Design Study Guide 2007by Kaplan.

As a former member and chairman of the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners, he served on several National Council of Architectural Registration Board committees, including ARE exam writing and scoring committees and was involved in the transition from the paper-based exam and in the development of the computer-based ARE. Mr. Wise has taught seminars on all divisions of the ARE to various AIA chapters in South Texas over the past fifteen years.
